South African Trainspotting meets Fire in the Sky meets Crank meets Under the Skin meets Starman meets Baby’s Day Out that aggregates to ...ok.

Drug fueled fever daydream that loses its way, if it ever had one. Its a bizarre behavioral blast-off, bollocking his life surrounded by a bunch of weirdos.

I had been pumped to see this one for well over a year, with the trailer and the short film it is based off of. Perhaps that was the comedown I had from the whacked-out highs I wanted. It’s a sexed-up tripped-out bonkers blitz; nigh plotless but full of wildness. Interested in what Kruger (the director) does next, but Barry was over-melted.  It just didn’t sustain the hit or the high for me.
