A HARD DAY (2014)

September 22, 2015 by Jacob Nelson in 2014, 7, ACTION, FOREIGN, H, THRILLER

9/22/2015 - A Hard Day (2014) - 7-/10

A fun and intense Korean cop action thriller where bad thing after bad thing keep happening to the protagonist cop. This guy can't catch a break, and every f-up ratchets up the danger and intrigue.

A quirky sense of humor, prevalent in so many quasi-thrillers from Korea, permeates these high stakes plot twists and the actor & director sell the story.

Though bad things keep happening to "the good guy", there is no such thing in this consistently greyed cluster of cohorts. Everybody is out for something, rarely right.
Certainly a lively ride that I would definitely suggest.
