A gripping documentary that has amazing footage and a supreme poignancy. Somehow, The documentarian was able to find and piece together footage from the very beginning and follow along throughout the scope of the conflict. Unique and lucky, both in what they were able to capture on film and the personal depth they were able to give to the grand tragic plight of the Ukranian nation. Perhaps it lacked in breadth of opinion, had an uncomfortable amount of frenzied nationalistic sentiment, and felt too much like a news feed than a personalized story, it was still quite distinguished and worth the viewing.
