HARDCORE HENRY (2015)

It's a hectic 88mph action roller coaster, but as a film it is dull and boring. An inventive idea for a film that vacillates between enthusiastic engagement and tedious banality. It tries both too much and too little, leaving the audience an interesting experience but an unsatisfactory film encounter

Saying that it felt like a live-action video game is too much of an understatement. There were seemingly save points, cut scenes, that one special "voice star" and ever increasing boss battles. This all provided for some novelty, impressive scenes & action, and some tiresomeness.

As a fun action film, it might scratch that itch for some, but I would suggest just taking a smaller dose from the same film maker that would probably suffice for quenching your fps thirst: https://youtu.be/Rgox84KE7iY
