5/11/2015 - Clouds Of Sils Maria (2014) - 7+/10

A high 7. Took a while to warm up and you could feel the 2 hours (of course, maybe the lady loudly eating tortilla chips next to me had an effect), This was a tremendously acted and engaging film. Sometimes too on the nose, the layers of storytelling/film making/social critique were well crafted. Life, imitating art, imitating life in an oroborus of beautiful vistas and acting chops. Binoche - her personal standard of greatness. Stewart - Bella can act, through clenched jaws and all.
