LITTLESISTER.

LITTLE SISTER (2016)

January 11, 2017 by Jacob Nelson in 2016, 7, COMEDY, DRAMA, L

1/11/2017 - Little Sister (2016) – 6+/7-/10

Minimal, but well crafted, with a subdued sense of heart and haunting idiosyncrasy soaked into the fabric of its harsh reality. Stylistically inventive and fresh, in a similar manner to Vulture or Blue Ruin. It is quiet and unique, but a joy (no matter how bitter) in character, story, and construction to watch.

For some reason, I can’t find the specialness that surrounds this film and translate it onto the page. I don’t know what it is, but know that I liked this film and you should check it out, if given the chance.
