FEELS GOOD MAN (2020)

September 06, 2020 by Jacob Nelson in 2020, 8, COMEDY, DOCUMENTARY, F

9/6/20 - Feels Good Man (2020) - 8-/10

A truly fascinating descent into the bowels of the Internet and heights of the metaphysical memosphere. Laid back art that gets morphed into a ubiquitous symbol of hate & angst, and the struggle to bring it back to the light. Outstanding explanation of the creation, transformation and the meanings in the age of meme.

As far as an informative doc goes, this truly explores our new and amorphous reality with aplomb; the symbiosis of ideas and the Internet. Approached from so many angles and so many layers to get a true glimpse of a storied reality. So wide ranging for such a small character.

Maybe best of all, it is fun.
