Watchable and surprisingly less sexy/fan-servicey than the manga, but they are equally light on real juicy plot/substance. It also doesn't help that its biggest draw (the cgi animation) is hit and miss. At times, it looked quite adept. But at other times, it looked disjointed and eye-rollingly unrealistic.

You get the expected crazy guns, inventive kami monsters, and jiggly leather clad breasts, but little else. The action is only so-so, despite being much more accomplished than its forebears (something like Final Fantasy). There is a fun element here and some nice animation, but this is a lacking overall product, especially if you were looking for any kind of fully formed film.
