CINDERELLA (2015) — Sleeper Awakened

Blah. Tremendous sets and amazing costumes, but the rest was sub-par. Other than Blanchett, the acting was banal if not eye-rolling. I also could not suspend my disbelief on the pseudo-anthropomorphic digital animals paired with the "real" live-action world. It just never clicked and took me out of it. I also couldn't get into this ridiculous (yes it's a classic, I get it, but c'mon!) plot. And, surprise, this super simplistic and bland "live by this golden rule" kids movie DID. NOTHING. FOR. ME.

Did I hate it or was it a bad movie? No. Just a bit below par. Redundant, puerile, and mediocre, but it "shore looked real purdy".
