THE MAZE RUNNER (2014)

July 19, 2015 by Jacob Nelson in 2014, 4, ACTION, M, SCIENCE FICTION

7/19/2015 - The Maze Runner (2014) - 4/10

This cold, runny oatmeal mess of a mix between Hunger Games, Lord of the Flies, and the Village isn't a total failure. You just have to accept that this plot blanket appears to be more of a badly crocheted spider web than a coherent, sensible story. The worst parts of all the apocalyptic/dystopian YA book adaptations crammed into one tired precursor to a sequel... Still, could have been worse.
