MURDER DEATH KOREATOWN (2020)

7/21/20 - Murder Death Koreatown (2020) - 4-/10

A punk rock alternative Blair Witch found footage immersion true crime film! That is a possibly great concept and I found it enticing in the beginning. But not long after the lackluster boredom started. It was lamely shot and amateurishly cobbled together, editorially, actor-wise, and plotting. I think it truly goes downhill when it descends into narcissistic navel gazing. When the unknown filmer becomes entangled and embroiled in the mystery, though it becomes the crux of the found footage horror, it loses its cutting edge instead of sharpening it. The idea and their commitment to concept kept me from despising it. But, by the end of this now horror film, I was ready for it to die.
