How about a movie that COMPLETELY wasn’t for me. Theater kid musical madness of the most plain variety. Nope. I think the situation surrounding the musical with what Larson went on to do and his untimely demise make this even viable, but I don’t need to speak out of turn. I hope all that see it enjoy it - but I didn’t. It’s fine. I think Garfield is good, but I won’t bring up my “just because you sing in a role seems to automatically boost the esteem for the performance” views. Taking nothing away from him but I probably would have rather seen Peter Dinklage get the same attention for his recent musical acting performance.
