ARGENTINA, 1985 (2022)

March 11, 2023 by Jacob Nelson in 2022, 6, A, BIOGRAPHY, DRAMA, FOREIGN, Oscars 2023

2/16/23 - Argentina, 1985 (2022) - 6/10

This is a tobacco stained real-life political thriller. Engaging and informative, especially for those unassociated with the time and troubles.  The photography was shaded and tight, expressing the hidden dangers engulfing the protagonists.

Sometimes there was a lack of vital emotionality, never quite executing the grip of other historic political thrillers or courtroom dramas. But there are some telling, rousing, and empathetically inspiring testimonials of some true horrors.
