ONE MORE SHOT (2024) — Sleeper Awakened

Continuing the tradition from the first, this sequel picks up almost directly after the events of the first (which I quickly had to remind myself of while watching) for another pseudo-oner. This time the action takes place in a larger and more intricate venue, that being an airport, and against a Black Water-esque antagonist. Adkins does a very good job with his action and performance, but I wish we would have gotten a little more White and if the repercussions of the murderous gauntlet he has been running through caught up with him more.

The story is pretty cut and dry and it hits many of the beats it needs to, but doesn’t excel to something more than a decent gimmicky flared action afternoon.
